BEND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RocketBux®,
a mobile advertising pioneer, has signed an MOU with nFinanSe Inc.
(OTCBB:NFSE) to provide coupons and offers to nFinanSe cardholders'
mobile phones.
The partnership will leverage RocketBux' patent-pending
technology to deliver scannable bar code coupons to "opted-in" nFinanSe
cardholders who simply swipe their card at a retailer's POS.
Participating merchants can elect to send targeted coupons directly to
the phones of customers that carry the nFinanSe card. Via these
"card-triggered" offers, nFinanSe will be able to deliver unique value
to its cardholders.

The RocketBux white-label platform is the only solution in

a special application to the phone. Virtually every mobile phone sold
in the last four years comes equipped with a browser to open a link to
a coupon.

After a cardholder has opted in to receive coupons and
potentially indicated offer preferences, they will receive a text
message with a link to a branded, barcode coupon. To redeem the offer,
the cardholder would visit the location and at checkout, simply open
the link and present his cell phone to have the barcode scanned.
RocketBux technology delivers a 1D barcode that is scannable using
industry standard, retail barcode scanners.
According to a recent survey by the CTIA - The Wireless
Association® , text messaging continues to be enormously popular, with
more than one trillion text messages carried on carriers' networks in
2008-breaking down to more than 3.5 billion messages per day. In a
recent report, The Nielsen Company, states that 16% of that total
represents text message advertising. And it is not just the 18-24 year
old demographic that is responding - 53% of those engaging with mobile
brand marketing are sent by texters 35 and older.
