For a card issuer, whether it is
credit, debit, gift or loyalty, any way that you can enhance the
relationship with your cardholder the better it is. RocketEngine™ is
uniquely designed to link the swipe of a mag-stripe card at POS to a
retailer-specific offer to your cardholder's mobile phone in just a few
seconds.
RocketEngine™ delivers a relevant
message/offer to the consumers' phone based on the retailer POS location
and consumer opt-in preferences. Using payment system protocols, we
send a targeted offer based on where the customer is when he has used
his card: The offer will be timely, relevant, high value and close by!
And it doesn't necessarily have to be an "offer" per se. Instead it
could be a message relating to a current marketing program, or to the
existing balance on a gift card, or points just earned.
RocketEngine™ is a non-intrusive LBS
(Location Based Service) product as it does not use GPS technology but
rather relies on identification metrics via the payment industry
standard merchant identification.
